Ultimate steak sandwich

Ingredients:
Crispy onion rings:

2 Small onions, thinly sliced
50g flour
1 tsp garlic powder

Sauce:
15 g grated Parmesan cheese
3 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp mustard
2 tbsp natural yoghurt

Sandwich:
400g Steak
60 grams of rocket
Foccacia, cut in half
Oil, salt, pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Divide the onion slices into rings and discard the small round cores. Sprinkle with a little oil and massage gently to coat each ring.
  2. Mix the flour and garlic powder together and toss the onion rings in the flour so that each is thinly coated.
  3. Air fry for 20 minutes at 120°C, so that they are light brown and crispy. (They will crisp up further as they cool.)
  4. In the meantime, mix the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl.
  5. Rub your steak in oil and season with salt and pepper, then Air Fry for 8 minutes at 205°C (medium rare). Cook your steak longer if you prefer it well done. Once cooked, let it rest for 2 minutes before slicing.
  6. Assemble your sandwich by spreading the sauce generously, then add your sliced steak, arugula, crispy onions and serve.
