Makes: 12 cookies
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 9 minutes
Appliance: Instant Air Fryer
Ingredients
- 200 g salted peanut butter
- 70–90 g brown sugar (use 70 g if your peanut butter is sweetened, 90 g if unsweetened)
- 1 egg
- 30 g chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
Step 1: Make the dough
In a bowl, mix together the peanut butter, brown sugar, and egg until a thick dough forms. Stir in the chocolate chips (if using) until evenly combined.
Step 2: Shape the cookies
Roll the dough into balls, then flatten each one gently with a fork to form cookies about 1 cm thick.
At this point, you can freeze the cookie dough to bake later — perfect for when cravings hit.
Step 3: Prepare the air fryer
Place a small square of baking paper in your air fryer basket, leaving a 1.5 cm gap around the edges to allow proper air circulation.
Arrange the cookies on the baking paper.
Step 4: Bake the cookies
Select the Bake function, set the temperature to 160°C, and bake for 9 minutes.
Step 5: Cool and enjoy
Let the cookies cool in the air fryer until set and easy to handle. Then enjoy warm or store in an airtight container.
